BBCA is modeled on the experience of Building Blocks, a child care and early education planning initiative led by IFF from 2003-2008.  IFF is a nonprofit that provides loans, real estate consulting, and research to the nonprofit community.  The Grand Victoria Foundation provides strategic funding to Illinois organizations interested in long-lasting economic, educational and environmental change.
